Monk Stone
Chenin Blanc
This wine gets its name from the large boulder which punctuates the dramatic vineyard block, situated at an elevation of approximately 300m. This bush-vine vineyard is planted along dramatic terraces which, along with the large boulder recall a traditional Japanese garden, hence the name, Monk Stone. This wine is vegan-friendly

Winemaking
Fruit Source
From a single bush-vine vineyard on our own Jonkershoek farm.
Terroir
This vineyard is planted along a very steep slope which allows even ripening and longer sunlight hours. The resultant wine has well-developed, ripe fruit flavours and a refreshing acidity.
