Cabernet Sauvignon

This Cabernet shows a lovely mix of New World fruitiness and Old World elegance.

Serving

– Serve at room temperature
– Pairs well with hearty roasts and stews

Tasting Note

Aromas of mint, cigar box and dark cherries are followed by cassis and red-currant fruit on the palate.

Winemaking

Selected vineyards in the Agter-Paarl.

Vinification

Fermentation took place over 5 days in stainless steel tanks with regular pump-overs. Before the end of fermentation, the grapes were pressed and put back into tank for malolactic fermentation. Fined and filtered before bottling.

Maturation & Oaking

Matured in American oak barrels (5% new) for 12 months.
