This is a unique variety, only recently planted in South Africa. The combination of excellent acidity and robust tannin should make for great maturation potential. This wine is vegan-friendly

Terroir

This is from a small, half-hectare block at the far end of another vineyard on the farm. The majority of this vineyard has sandy soils, but there is a small section of decomposed granite in the corner – ideal soils for full-bodied reds.
